Pokemon Sun and Moon Launch in November, First Gameplay and Starter Pokemon Details

 

Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have announced the release date for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.

The latest in their monster-catching RPG series will launch on November 18th in North America and on November 23rd in Europe. To celebrate the release date announcement, the publisher shared the first gameplay for the game, which you can view above.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon Officially Announced for 3DS

Following yesterday’s leak for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, Nintendo has officially announced both titles for the Nintendo 3DS.

Featured above, you can view the reveal trailer for the two latest entries in the series.

The game’s will be released worldwide later this year, with a tentative “holiday” release window. The games will feature a multitude of language options, including: English, Italian, Spanish, Korean, French, German, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

Finally, Nintendo also confirmed that the digital re-releases of Pokemon Red, Pokemon Blue, and Pokemon Yellow, will all support Pokemon Bank, which means you can transfer the Pokemon captured in those games into Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon Registered by Nintendo

We’ve just learned that Nintendo have registered two (1,2) Pokemon titles, titled Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.

This is could very well be the new Pokemon title that will be officially announced during Nintendo’s Pokemon Direct.

We will most likely get more information on the new title on February 26, the date in which the Pokemon Direct will be held.
