E3 2016 – Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Officially Revealed

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was overwhelmingly successful. With a massive open-world and seemingly endless side quests to do, you could easily lose hundreds of hours to the game. Then you could lose a couple hundred hours more just to the card game Gwent, a mini-game included within the actual game. Now, Gwent is moving on and will be available as a standalone game on Xbox One and Windows 10, titled Gwent: The Witcher Card Game.

Play your cards right and manage a three-row battle formation as you unleash your hand over a best-of-three series of rounds. With heroes, spells and special abilities that dramatically turn the tide of battle, deception and clever tricks will be necessary parts of your arsenal.

The official release window for the beta is sometime this September for Xbox One and Windows 10, later to be extended to PlayStation 4.

Call Of Cthulhu – E3 Trailer

Call of Cthulhu: insanity is the only path for truth

Cyanide Studio has put out a new trailer for their upcoming Lovecraftian-adventure game, Call of Cthulhu.

Featured above, you can view the new trailer. Call of Cthulhu will put players in the role of Edward Pierce, a former veteran and private investigator in 1920s Boston. His goal is the investigation of the Hawkings family murders in Darkwaters Island.

Faithful to the tabletop RPG that inspired the game, Pierce will be engulfed into madness and lose his sense of sanity as he uncovers the truth behind the murders and starts entering the sphere of influence of Cthulhu. Balancing the sanity will be a key gameplay mechanic that players will have to manage.

Call of Cthulhu will release in 2017 on consoles and PC
